several years ago, when i was a little less superstitious than i am now, i used to make a habit of wishing upon a star for the things i wanted in life. in the morning, on my way to the garage, i would look up into the early morning sky and toss a dream or desire into the heavens.
it wasn't until after....oh i don't know, the first dozen wishes that ended in abject failure, i began to realize i was either pissing off a higher authority, or that stars just weren't made to be wished upon... damn you, walt disney!
and so for my current wish, i'm just going to keep my fingers crossed...and hope it won't affect my driving. but at least there won't be any constellations involved!
oh yeah, and i'm not telling you what it is, either!
