about a year ago, i posted about the kind of dad i hope to be. i found this video clip of a young girl's reaction to her father returning home after a year in iraq. and as i said in my posting, i hope and pray i can be that kind of dad who gets a reaction like that from his daughter after a prolonged absence.
and so i dedicate this father's day to all the fathers who are away from their children today, that they may soon find themselves once again in the embrace of their sons and daughters.
