it would seem obvious to choose the so-called "ground zero" in manhattan as the destination of choice today, but i choose a different spot;
Stonycreek Township, Somerset County, Pennsylvania
while those killed in new york and washington d.c. are no less tragic, the people killed on flight 93 displayed the courage and determination of selflessness we like to think is in all americans. whether or not it actually is, these individuals, having been made aware of the previous hijackings and crashes that day, decided they would rather drive the plane into the ground than have it used as yet another "flying bomb".they didn't do it because they were unafraid to die, nor did they do it because they belonged to a particular political party, to a particular religion, or even because they were all "proud american citizens". they did it so it wouldn't happen to someone else.
